KINCON 2008: Consumer & Technology Convergence
June 17 & 18, 2008 Santa Clara Convention Center
Over 500 attendees from various industries joined together for a premiere network for entrepreneurial opportunities as well as to learn, share and discuss emerging trends related to digital innovation.
The eighth KIN Conference took place from June 17 to June 18 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, California. For two days, IT Professionals, Senior business leaders, Government officials, VC's, and Scholars came together to discuss how consumers are shaping the future of the industry by tapping into the latest technology trends and Web 2.0 services.

Day 1 included four panel discussions in Micro Payment, Location based service, Gaming, and Rich user experiences. The highlight of the conference on Day 1 was the Gala Dinner where Yul Kwon was emcee for the evening as well as one of three keynote speakers for the night. Yul Kwon kept the audience engaged with his Survivor experience as well as his passion for reaching out to the Asian American Community and how everyone can make a difference by reaching out. There was also Moon Soo Kim, Governor of Geonggi Province and Young Se Kim, Founder & CEO of Innodesign Inc.

This year's event not only covered a large audience for the conference but for the company exhibition as well. Thirty two companies exhibited for both days and were able to share and connect their company vision.
